My favorite place to buy European fresh bread rolls in New Britain. Service is fast and friendly. As someone who grew up in Europe, I enjoy the vibes and always reminds me of home. Great deli meats and delicious bakery items.

Love the Roly Poly. Especially beautifully decorated for Christmas. This market has everything you didn't know you needed. Packzi are unlike supermarket products! These are legit. The cookies are amazing. Every visit we grab hot lunch and take it upstairs to the small seating area. The hand painted ornaments from Poland are stunning.

11.24.24 This is one of those gems that most people in the area know about and frequent. This place is a goldmine. They seem to be busy every time I have been here. Their wait time for either bakery items or prepared foods or even the coffee has never been an issue. The employees are professionals. They know what to do and they get it done. No fuss no muss. The communication has been a slight issue a couple times but it doesn't bother me at all. Some of their English isn't their first language but with a little patience that goes a long way you can get it done and get what you are asking for. They're all very helpful with explaining when you ask. They do tell you what's in or what type some of their prepared food is if you're unsure. But again, you just have to ask and be patient. They're doing their best and they're doing fine, very fine by me. For those who aren't aware, the primary food and goods here is Polish food which i enjoy. I'm sure there's plenty of other similar types that they carry but for those, in unaware of. The prepared foods are delicious. I love their pierogis. They have a handful of different types from time to time. I love their potato & cheese pierogis. They're very tasty. Some of the soups I've tried are also so rich & hearty. So good ;-) The store is packed with an abundance of products that you just can't readily find anywhere. So I guess this place is also a sorry of specialty store of sorts. The prices to me are reasonable for what you get. Those pickled cucumbers are amazing. Oh yeah, another favorite pierogi is the one with farmers cheese. A slight sweet taste to its but not sugary candy like sweet. Just a hint of sweetness to it. It's hard to explain, but for those who are aware and know what I'm talking about you know how delicious and yummy those are. Some people even sprinkle a lil sugar on top of that type of pierogi. But don't forget the butter too before the sugar. The pierogis are a true delight for breakfast or dinner. Really anytime is a great time for a pierogi. They have their own private parking lot on the side of the store. They carry plenty of products that you're sure to find something that you will like and enjoy. Don't forget about those fresh baked donuts. The Paczki really are truly amazing. They have an assortment of ingredients and flavors of what they're filled with. There are a few different ways to say this donut word Paczki. It depends on what area you're from. One of the ways you say it which is my favorite Is PUNCHKEE. I love their punchkee, aha paczki. Lemon is a favorite of mine and theirs is nothing short of truly amazing and delightful. Try it and you'll be back for more like me. When you walk in, you notice that the store has some type of scent or aroma that transforms you to a magical world of pure delight. Stop by and enjoy, you'll see and smell what I'm talking about.

My first time there was a great experience between the breads, the pastries, the meats and the ambience of straight out of feeling like an old market in Poland. The people are so quick to answer a question. Very helpful Desserts brought home are awesome. The cookies as well as the cheesecake as well as the Ryebread, will be back for more

Stopped by with a friend after we grabbed lunch one day and WOW. Huge selection of polish goods. Lots of different types of Polish bread, chocolate, meat, beverages, etc. Was instantly drawn to the bakery portion of the shop. Beautiful display and clean inside. I ended up getting the bird's milk cake and the bialia lilia cake (aka meter long cake). Huge slice of cake for the price. Got some blueberry ale which was delicious as well. Might be difficult to navigate for those who only speak English but many of the products have a tag with the translation on them. Siblings loved the chocolates we got for them. Great place that feels like a slice of Poland in CT

This bakery is unbelievable big and has anything you are looking for or want and more. Its located in the little Poland section of New Britain. I got to stop in before the closing time. And all I can say is wow. I wanted to try their real homemade cheese pierogis w the onions and the cheese is alittle heavier then the usual but very good. I think they were alittle pricey but then again everything was in there. The workers were very nice but alot were polish and hard to understand. Everything is fresh and you go in and want it all as it's so overwhelming as it's so big. I'm glad I finally got a chance to visit it to see for myself.

The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because you can get some of the items cheaper at other polish grocery stores, but do not let that stop you from going here! The selection of food, the quality, the ambiance, the customer service.. Everything about this place is great. It is a wonderful store, very clean, and charming but not in a quaint way. This place has everything. It has 3 or 4 meat counters, a hot bar, and 2 cheese cases & that's not even mentioning the desserts.. Oh, the desserts... There is something like 6 cases of sweets & bakery items, not including breads. As if this wasn't enough, there is a luncheon area where you can order food, have something to drink, and relax. It is very comfortable.. This store is MOST ENJOYABLE to spend time in.

Good shop, much bigger than expected with a large assortment of food and baked goods. Only got a cookie while in town, but it was really good and authentic. The shop itself was nice and well lit, air conditioned, and had a lot of decorations akin to Poland. The service was nice, although it took me a few minutes to get the attention of an employee to get my order at the bakery area
